In 2019 we approached the interior stylist and design consultant Alex Kristal, of Made Good Studio in London, to design our stand for Decorex International at Olympia. After an initial discussion, Alex redefined the creative brief and brought her vision to life by mapping out a spatial composition and then layering it with visual research. She brought in the talented floral artist Frida Kim, who designed the exquisite flower ‘clouds’ suspended above our furniture, bringing an ethereal beauty to the space.
The result was an inviting, calm and beautiful scene in the middle of a bustling trade show, with a fresh Mediterranean palette that complimented the considered simplicity of the furniture we exhibited. The stand was a balance of textures and tones, from the Marrakesh walls to the carefully selected ceramics, that accentuated the finely finished warm timber tones of walnut and ebonised oak.
